SEE FOR THE NEXT GENERATION

As we have heard, so we have seen. In the city of the Lord of hosts, in the city of our God: God will establish it forever.” Psalms 48: 8

As we have heard, so we have seen…isn’t it so true that hearing about something is so different than seeing something?

We need to build a generation of leaders that not only hear, but see for themselves. You cannot live off other people’s experience. What you see is your experience, what you hear is someone else’s experience. It is up to us to create an atmosphere so that the next generation can experience God for themselves. An atmosphere of faith, praise, worship, expectancy and miracles!

When you just hear something you can doubt it, but when you see it for yourself there is no doubting it. If people are only hearing about God and not experiencing Him for themselves it fosters discouragement. If all people do is hear about something that happened some time back then we can dwell in the past.

Our walk with the Lord needs to be fresh today. There are lessons and heritage in the past but the power needs to lie in the future and we have the responsibility to bring through those coming behind us.

The older you get the more open you need to be, because the older you get the more ‘good old days’ there are. But like Elizabeth the older, and Mary the younger, both generations can be pregnant with a miracle at the same time. Like Caleb at eighty years of age we can say “Give me the mountain”.

Walk confidently in the knowledge that God has a future and destiny for you!
