Do All  Things Well - Be Bold and Very Courageous

Mark 7:37  They were utterly astonished, saying, “He has done all things well

It’s not easy to do all things well, especially in the face of opposition.  It’s much easier to take short cuts with a ‘she’ll be right’ attitude.

But what a testimony Jesus had saying, “Be of good cheer for I have overcome.”  For Him to have still done all things well in the face of opposition, paves the way for us.

Most people want the ‘promised land’ – the end result, without the ‘wilderness’ – the hard work.  But, faith walks out the promise.  You don’t necessarily need to know where you are going, but you do need to know who you are following.  Then you can step out with faith and boldness in the face of all opposition.

The bible celebrates what God did, not what He didn’t do.  At the pool of Bethesda, many were sick but only one got healed and the Pharisees were upset.  Those with a religious spirit will talk of what God didn’t do and this cements their unbelief.

Don’t feed your soul on what God has not done - the door that He has not yet opened.  Your ears are connected to your breakthrough so feed them well.  We also need to watch what we say to ourselves!

Feed your soul on what He has done and the doors that He has opened.  Ask yourself the question - Am I living to please the Lord?  It is not a matter of wishful thinking, or hoping that it will all pan out one day - the road to hell is paved with good intentions!  Oh to hear the words, “WELL DONE, good and faithful servant!”

Spurgeon said “small faith will take you to heaven, but great faith will bring heaven to earth”.  It takes faith to see the invisible, to do the impossible.  Jesus did not say to just pray for the sick, He said “heal the sick, cast out devils!”  We are called to the lifestyle of the impossible - to be bold and courageous so that we can bring the people of this world into an encounter with God.

Face the impossible, live with courage and do it well.
