WALKING ON

Hebrews 11:8-10

8By faith Abraham obeyed when he was called to go out to the place which he would receive as an inheritance. And he went out, not knowing where he was going.

9By faith he dwelt in the land of promise as in a foreign country, dwelling in tents with Isaac and Jacob, the heirs with him of the same promise;

10for he waited for the city which has foundations, whose builder and maker is God.

The Christian walk is one of growing, of learning, of developing, and moving on.  It’s one of breakthrough.  God continually shows and tells the saints of old you will not have a breakthrough until you let go and move on!

Throughout Jesus’ life He was heading somewhere, He was moving.  He always had a goal in mind. He had a destiny.  He continued to press forward and let go.  Time and time again He moved on, leaving people to make up their own minds whether to follow or not.  He never coerced.  Never pleaded.  Never begged.

We are all responsible for our own actions and responses, for our own obedience and our own walk with God.  There’s an old saying that goes, “It doesn’t matter what happens, it’s how you react that matters!”

Let go of small minds, of past grievances, hurts, disappointments, and offences.  To breakthrough we must go on!  For our own sake as well as for our family’s sake, and most of all for His sake.

What must you let go of to walk on?
