Baptisms in the Nashwaak River
What a way to end the summer! At our last barbeque of the summer three people were baptized in the Nashwaak River at Durham Bridge while the church family stood on the grassy bank and worshipped the Lord. Husband and wife, Pourya and Pouya Heidari, immigrants from Iran and new Christian coverts gave their testimony of love for their Lord Jesus Christ as they stepped together into the higher than normal waters of the swift flowing river. The presence of Holy Spirit was evident as they rose from the water with praise to the One who has delivered them from the kingdom of darkness into His glorious light. Kelly Arsenault then stepped into the water to wash of her old life and step toward a renewed pursuit of God’s purpose for her life.
Summer Holiday 5-Day Kidz Club

A tent was set up in a local school playground and invitations were sent out to the area residents. With games, stories and Bible lessons, quizzes and memory verses to challenge the youngsters. Contact was made with several families and one shy little nine year old girl, Naomi, gave her heart to Jesus on the final day.
