At the City Impact Arts Academy, our team are passionate about teaching the arts.

With a wealth of experience, skill, and a contagious enthusiasm, each teacher offers invaluable training for each facet of their craft while creating an encouraging and inspirational environment for their students to excel and realise their dreams.

 

  Ballet

 
 

Brittany Campbell 

Brittany is the assistant to Sarah for the Thursday Ballet classes.

Brittany has always had thorough enjoyment of dance and performance with experience ranging from Street and Hip Hop to Contemporary and Ballet.
 
She has been dancing for 9 years and after only two years of Ballet is now achieving Grade 6.
 
 

  Hip Hop and Musical Theatre

 

Kelly Tilton

Kelly teaches the Musical Theatre Classes and our Monday Hip Hop class.

Beginning with Ballet at 5 years of age, Kelly then began Jazz at 7 and Hip Hop at 10.
 
Excelling in her chosen styles, at age 14 she began teaching Hip Hop, Musical Theatre, Ballet and Tap to students of all ages.
 
Winning various National and Regional dance competitions along the way, she has also been involved in performing and choreographing productions both whilst at school and also here at City Impact Church.
 
 

 

  Music Tuitions

 

Jo Chester

Jo teaches Guitar and Bass for all ages.

With a love for music from a young age, Jo completed a Bachelor of music education in 2005 and has studied the clarinet, trumpet, piano, guitar, bass and vocal technique.
 
Jo has also been performing as a solo artist since 2008, and has been teaching music since 2007.
 
With such broad and extensive music history, we are delighted to have Jo providing music tuition with us.

 

Steph Strong

Steph teaches violin, piano and beginiers drums at City Impact Church Arts Academy.

Stephanie is a member of the New Zealand Institute for Registered Music Teachers New Zealand and is also a member of the New Zealand Suzuki Institute as a registered music teacher. She has been the sub-principal violinist for the Auckland Youth Orchestra and has also undertaken classes in chamber music, orchestra, performance, musicianship and composition at the University of Auckland Academy of Music.
Stephanie has attained Performer’s Certificate with Trinity College of Music and is currently working towards her ABRSM Diploma in Performance. Her interests in orchestra saw her chosen to play in the ‘My Fair Lady’ musical, showcased at the Bruce Mason Theatre in 2007. Stephanie has a great passion to pass on her knowledge and love of music to each student receiving tuition in Violin and Piano and her drive is to see students reach their potential with excellence not only for themselves, but to use their talents and giftings in music for   the Kingdom of God.
