Hi, for the past 9 years I have been attending City Impact church and working in our wonderful early childhood Education centers. Before that I studied at the Dunedin College of Education to achieve my Bachelor of Education in Early Childhood. I love working at City Impact Church Kindergarten and believe it’s a real privilege to have the opportunity to care and educate young children in a rich Christian environment and see them grow and develop into their learning and personalities. My desire is that our Kindergarten offers a safe environment where children and there families feel welcome and valued and that children experience a learning environment that is fun and exciting with lots of opportunities to create, explore and discover.
Hi, my name is Anna Hetrick. I have been attending City Impact Church with my family for 5 years and I have worked at City Impact Church Kindergarten for most of that time. I am working part-time while I finish my last year of study for my diploma in Early Childhood through New Zealand Tertiary College. When I am not at kindy, church or studying I spend time with my young daughter and my husband. I love watching children grow more confident in who they are and what they know and above all who God is and how real He is in their own lives. It is so exciting when they discover something new and I get to learn it with them all over again. Young children can understand so much more than what they get credit for.
Hi, my name is Gina and I have been blessed by being brought up in a Christian home. For the past 20 years my Family and I have attended Holy Trinity Anglican Church in Devonport. In 2008 I graduated with a Bachelor of Education in Early Childhood Education from AUT and also hold a Diploma in Music in performance flute. I am passionate about bringing music into young children lives. I am also a busy mother of 3 delightfully dynamic children aged 17, 14 and 8 years. Working here at city impact church Kindergarten brings me much joy in building relationships with the children, families and staff.
Hi, my name is Hye-Rin Cho. I’m from Korea and I came to New Zealand when I was 7. I finished my Early Childhood Education degree last year through The University of Auckland. I was brought up in a Christian family and I am very thankful that my parents have planted Christianity in my life. I have a strong passion for children as they are our next generation and I want them to be faithful and know God like I have been taught. I truly believe that God has sent me to this centre for a reason. I really enjoy working at City Impact Church Kindergarten as the children and teachers always make me smile and make me feel loved.
Hi, my name is Francesca Bunting. I have been coming to City Impact Church for 2 years and have had the privilege of working at the kindergarten for 1 year. I am in my first year of study at New Zealand Tertiary College working towards a Bachelor of Education. I love working at City Impact Church Kindergarten because I love watching children learn and grow, and seeing them discover who they are in God. I really value getting to know the children and their families, and being apart of their early education.
