Village Impact Child Sponsorship has seen over two hundred children sponsored to date and allowing the Joshua Foundation to train teachers and operate a Christian primary school in an area that is 80% Muslim, impacting them with the love of God and the gospel of Jesus Christ.

The children live in a town called Magugu, Tanzania in the heart of Africa.  The population including surrounding villages is 70,000.  Magugu is a rapidly growing town with huge unemployment with a work force reliant on casual farm work. The area also has high statistics of HIV and Aids.  There are two hundred and fifty children in the Joshua Primary School, which was established in 1999, and Village Impact will see every child at the school individually sponsored.

We are thrilled that our sponsorship go towards teachers salaries, a daily meal, school uniforms, medical care and school resources.

By collectively sponsoring children who attend Joshua Primary School, we will provide an excellent Biblical education that will enable each child to reach their true potential, which will then empower a whole community.  The flow on effect is the fact that these children will then change a nation.

"When we met these children, and saw the villages in which the families live our hearts were touched with the potential of these beautiful children. We knew that we could make an immeasurable difference to the future of a whole generation.  We have great expectation about what God will do amongst these people and the effect a Christ centered education will have on this nation."
